MANDEEZERS

AMANDA SABBAGH

Mandeezers is a Montreal-based artist whose work reflects self-discovery, resilience, and transformation. Raised in a Middle Eastern family, she was encouraged to follow a traditional path, but her passion for creative expression always found its way through.

Her art is about freedom ••• not just the freedom to make something, but to let go of fear, attachment, and the expectations we grow up with. It’s her way of stepping outside the usual boundaries and seeing what else is possible.

Guided by music, she lets rhythm and movement lead the way, starting with quick, instinctive marks that grow into layered, textured canvases. She experiments with different tools and approaches, letting the process stay loose so the paint can move, drip, and surprise her. Each piece is raw, one-of-a-kind, and personal ••• a snapshot of a moment in her own transformation.

Her collection, The Rebirth, captures this ongoing process of renewal and exploration. While some of her work has been shown in group exhibitions, this is the first time the entire series is shared in one place. Through her art, she invites others to pause, reflect, and maybe even find a bit of their own freedom in the process.

CREATIVE SPACE

Mandeezers’ studio is her creative sanctuary, a personal space she has built over time, gradually adding materials, equipment, and tools to support her multidisciplinary practice. Here, she explores and creates across various mediums, from painting and mixed media to photography, videography, and editing. Every piece she has made has come to life within these walls, created with the freedom to experiment and evolve.

This studio remains the center of her process ••• a practical, personal space for making, experimenting, and exploring.
